SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — An earthquake registering a magnitude of 3.7 shook part of the San Francisco Bay Area and people reported feeling a quick jolt. There were no immediate reports of injuries or major property damage.

A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was recorded in the Bay Area on Friday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The San Francisco Peninsula shook three times in less than four hours on Friday, with all the earthquakes centered off Ocean Beach. The quakes of magnitude 3.6, 2.5 and 2.9 had epicenters 3 to 4 miles northwest of the San Francisco Zoo,

California was hit by a minor 3.7 magnitude earthquake early on Friday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The tremors were felt in the Bay Area at 7:02 AM local time. The agency's Survey Shake Map indicated that the epicenter was near the San Francisco Zoo.

A preliminary magnitude 3.7 earthquake near Daly City was felt around the Bay Area Friday morning. The quake was centered about 6 miles west-northwest of Daly City and 7 miles west of Noe Valley in San Francisco.
